How To Install Rubber Grass Mats
A step-by-step guide for installing rubber grass mats correctly that includes plastic fixing pegs and cable ties.
Measure and mark the area where the rubber grass mats will be installed. Shorten the grass before removing any remaining debris or clippings.
Use high-quality sandy topsoil to level out any uneven areas if you want a level surface. Before seeding or turfing the area, compact the surface thoroughly.
Set your rubber grass mats in the marked area and cut them to fit around any obstacles if necessary.
Maintain a level surface for your grass mats by ensuring that the mats are next to the touch. Then, at intervals of 150 millimeters, join the adjacent mats' edges together with cable ties. The fixed cable ties should have their ends trimmed so that they are neither hazardous nor exposed to the surface above.
After they have been fixed together, secure the plastic fixing pegs into the ground by hammering or malleting them at intervals of 500 millimeters to ensure that your grass mats will not move when walked on.
